Monica Turkson

Peer Mentor (EduKidz)

I am a committed professional educator and a passionate advocate for early childhood learning. As a Catalyst at Dawene Spot, I serve as the EduKidz Strand Lead, supporting early years learners to build strong literacy and numeracy skills through engaging and play based learning activities.

I am deeply motivated by the desire to create positive change in education, with a particular focus on children in the lower primary levels. My passion for teaching is shaped by the joy I experience working with young learners and by the continuous learning that comes from their unique perspectives and natural curiosity.

As my knowledge and experience continue to grow, I remain dedicated to driving meaningful educational transformation and to ensuring that every child has access to a strong and supportive learning foundation.

In my new role as a Peer Mentor for EduKidz, I aim to support fellow Catalysts across the EduSpots network by guiding them in effectively constituting their clubs and by sharing best practices in play based learning to strengthen educational outcomes.
