EduSpots has always been more than just a project — it’s a buzzing, ever-growing collaboration!
From the very beginning, people have seen the magic in our solar-powered ‘spots’: vibrant community spaces packed with learning resources, run by passionate Catalysts. Together, they’re lighting up learning and unlocking opportunities in remote Ghanaian communities.
We are grateful to have the following learning and funding partners supporting our growth in particular:
- In 2026, we were selected as one of 12 organisations for the Mastercard Foundation’s EdTech Fellowship, receiving $60,000 and extensive technical EdTech and partnerships development support and launched by Ghana’s Minister of Education.
- We were one of seven organisations globally selected for the Theirworld 2025 Education Innovation Scale-up Awards, which has accompanying coaching, technical support, group mentoring and £40,000 funding.
- We are one of 18 African organisations selected for the highly competitive Dovetail Impact Foundation’s Africa Accelerator Programme, now in the ‘Ascent’ two year programme from 2025–2027 with accompanying annual unrestricted support.
- Our CEO was selected for the 2025-2026 UNESCO Youth For Peace Intercultural Leadership Programme, which came with funding to support the development of our online courses and EduCitizens Programme, alongside intensive leadership development in intercultural understanding.
Our journey is constantly evolving, connecting change makers in diverse global locations and we are immensely grateful for the support we have received along the way! Want to be part of the story? Whether you’re keen to support, partner, or just have a chat, drop us a line at cdavison@eduspots.org — we’d love to hear from you!
