Collins Zisseh

Peer Mentor (DigiLit)

Collins’ journey in digital literacy reflects growth, commitment, and the transformative power of education. Beginning as a learner in 2018, he developed a strong foundation in digital skills and a deep appreciation for the role of technology in learning. This early experience shaped his passion for digital education and inspired him to support others on similar learning pathways.

In 2023, Collins transitioned into the role of an ICT teacher, where he actively supported students in building essential digital skills, critical thinking abilities, and responsible digital practices. Through teaching and mentorship, he focused on creating inclusive, student-centered learning environments that encouraged curiosity, creativity, and confidence in using technology.

Later in 2023, Collins further expanded his impact by serving as a DigiLit Catalyst, contributing to peer-led initiatives that promote digital inclusion, collaboration, and community engagement. Now, as a DigiLit Peer Mentor, he draws on his experiences as a learner, educator, and catalyst to bridge the gap between students and educators.

Aligned with EduSpots’ mission and vision, Collins is committed to empowering learners and teachers to become confident, ethical, and innovative digital citizens. He believes that when education is inclusive and peer-supported, technology becomes a catalyst for opportunity, lifelong learning, and sustainable community development.
