Prince Ampofo
Head of Leadership Programmes

Prince Ampofo is widely known for his passion for leadership; often describing himself as someone who walks, eats, and talks leadership. With over a decade of practical experience, he brings a deep commitment to both personal and organizational leadership. His expertise spans leading impactful projects, building and nurturing teams and partnerships, and scaling initiatives in education, mentorship, and youth leadership development.
He previously served as the Program Coordinator at the Databank Foundation, where he also led as the Coordinator for the Africa Leadership Initiative West Africa (ALIWA). In these roles, Prince managed and implemented programs in leadership, mentorship, mental health, and literacy, reaching thousands of beneficiaries annually across Ghana. His work with ALIWA, in collaboration
with the Aspen Institute (USA), extended across the West African subregion, supporting the development of ethical leaders in Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.
A published author on leadership, Prince is a Fellow of WYSE International and serves as a global facilitator for its leadership programs, which convene emerging leaders from around the world. He also actively contributes to leadership development in Ghana, regularly serving as a keynote speaker at academic and professional institutions nationwide. Prince is a member of the Ghana Association of Social Workers and serves on the National Executive Council of the Triumphant Church International Commission. His leadership and innovation have earned him recognition as one of Ghana’s Most Influential Young People in Leadership by Avance Media Africa in 2022, and as one of Future of Ghana UK’s Top 30 Under 30 in 2019.
He holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Coast and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership & Governance at the University of Ghana Business School. He also holds a certificate in Project Management Fundamentals from the Project Management Institute, Ghana, and has participated in several international leadership development programs.
As he steps into his role as Head of Leadership Programmes at EduSpots, Prince aspires to strategically grow the organization’s leadership development work, working closely with local catalysts to foster transformational leadership, strengthen community ownership, and scale the EduSpots model across Ghana and beyond.
