Sarah Mukute

Saramine is a philanthropy leader with over a decade of experience in mobilising resources for education and social impact. Most recently serving as Head of Philanthropy at World Vision UK, she has led transformative donor engagement strategies, stewarded multi-year partnerships, and secured significant funding for flagship education programmes.

Driven by a lifelong belief in the power of education to unlock opportunity, Saramine brings a deep commitment to equity, community-led change, and sustainable development. She was instrumental in launching World Vision UK’s first Education Advisory Group and leading its Empowering Women and Girls initiative, building cross-sector partnerships rooted in mutual respect and shared values.

Having grown up in Africa, she has seen how education is deeply valued as a powerful tool for change, often pursued with remarkable determination in the face of limited resources. She is especially drawn to EduSpots’ locally rooted model that places decision-making power in the hands of community educators. Saramine is excited to support EduSpots’s mission to co- create educational spaces and networks that catalyse sustainable futures across the continent.
