Literacy and Digital Skills Coordinator

Passionate about empowering learners through literacy and digital skills, William Donkor is an educator and advocate for inclusive, quality education. He holds a B.Ed. in English and Religion and Human Values from the University of Cape Coast and has earned professional certifications in TESOL Methodology, Academic Writing, and Teaching English to Young Learners through the Online Professional English Network (OPEN). He is also a licensed teacher accredited by the Ghana National Teaching Council.

With over five years of experience in education, William has taught English language, Academic Writing, IELTS, SAT, and Life Skills A1 test preparation to basic-level learners, secondary school students, and adult learners.

As a curriculum developer, he has contributed to designing, reviewing, and editing English language learning materials, assessment resources, and Teacher’s Guides for basic and Junior High Schools, ensuring they met diverse learner needs. His expertise encompasses digital education and English language instruction, equipping students with critical thinking and communication skills essential for the 21st century.

Beyond the classroom, William aspires to become an education policy and evaluation analyst, focusing on basic and secondary education. His goal is to develop a decentralized curriculum in Ghana that enables learners to directly identify and solve societal problems. He firmly believes that “Education has no essence if students who go through that system cannot solve their immediate societal problems.”
