Ibrahim Nabila Adam

Regional Spot Coordinator (Northern Region & Kenya)

Ibrahim Nabila Adam is my full name even though Mr Adam is widely used in Eduspots circles. I am a teacher at Kalpohin Anglican JHS and an Eduspots Volunteer in Kalpohin Community Library where I also act as the Project Leader. I previously served as Training and Technical Service Provider Staff for Centre for Sustainable Local Development as an FBO Trainer in Karaga 1 Cluster and Cotton Production Assistant (CPA) in-Charge of Gaa Station in Gushegu District as well as Cotton Marketing Officer for Gushegu Zone with Wienco Cotton Company Ltd.

I am very passionate in community mobilization and action in addressing challenges confronting us especially in the area of education and community development in general. To this end I have played key roles, including member of Kalpohin concern youth group, secretary to Mandeeya Development Youth Association and a founding member for Centre for Youth and Social Development (CYSD).

I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics at University for Development Studies, Diploma in Education from University of Education, Winneba, Executive Certificate in Project Management from African Centre for Capacity Building (AfCAB) and a Certificate for Commercial Development for Farmer-Based Organizations (CDFOs) from MiDA.

I envisage a society in which every child will have equal access to quality education in a safe environment where children are led to discover and develop their potentials. A society I which individuals are willing to contribute and participate towards a common goal.
