Laura Ward

Head of Operations Support

Laura is our Operations Support Officer, providing assistance across many aspects of the Charities activities.

With nearly 20 years’ experience in the education and charity sectors, Laura brings a wealth of operational knowledge and expertise to the EduSpots team.

Starting out in urban regeneration, she became a Trust Director and subsequently the Director of Operations for a large pan-London organisation.  Developing a passion for education and supporting young people, she moved on to work directly in secondary education, linking closely with primary and alternative curriculum learning.  More recently she took on the role of Education Trips Director for an international development charity and led the development and growth of an exciting new education Foundation, supporting disadvantaged young people in the UK and overseas.

Now living and working in West Wales, she spends her time in a consultancy capacity, supporting a number of small and medium sized charities.  When not working, she can be found exploring the beautiful wilds of the Pembrokeshire coast.
