Mohammed Rafiq Abdulai Nindow

Digital Coordinator

Abdulai Mohammed Rafiq Nindow is a software engineer and App Development Coordinator at EduSpots. He grew up in Tamale, where his interest in technology became closely tied to the question of who gets access to it. In 2021, Rafiq and his friends started Zobu Tech Hub to help people in Northern Ghana learn programming, web development, AI and robotics. He later became a founding engineer at 3Farmate Robotics, building mobile and web tools for farmers alongside the team’s autonomous farming technology.

Rafiq has since worked on mobile, web and backend systems across education, utilities and AI. At Polymorph Labs, he helped develop software supporting ECG field operations, including offline tools designed for communities with unreliable connectivity. At Elagent AI, he co-led the development of a Flutter app for AI-powered voice services and managed its Android and iOS releases.
He has also taught Python and embedded systems at the University of Ghana and trained community learners through Zobu Tech Hub. He holds a first-class degree in Computer Science from KNUST.

At EduSpots, Rafiq focuses on making digital tools reliable, practical and easy for Catalysts to use, particularly in communities where devices and connectivity may be limited. He is naturally curious and enjoys turning unusual questions into useful technology.
