Teacher Changemaker

My name is Yvonne Peters Asamoning. I consider myself an educator, a mentor and a community developer.

I am excited about the Teacher change-maker grant I have received from Eduspots. With this grant I intend to provide a sustainable pad plan to girls. The target group are girls who cannot afford to buy disposable pads monthly and therefore I believe this will enable them have a more hygienic and comfortable option. I also intend to have a series of skills training workshops to economically empower the participants. They will be able to start their own small businesses thereby discouraging a dependancy culture.
