The New Ebu Spot is one of the most recently accredited Spots situated in the rural farming community of New Ebu in the Abura District of the Central Region of Ghana. The Spot was established in 2023.
The project was initiated by the local Catalyst Miss Margaret Incoom with significant support from EduSpots. Through the contribution and funding from partners, the community school was supported with learning resources including age-appropriate books and computers. In order to reduce the increasing teenage pregnancy and school drop-out rates, the Spot has embarked on intensive sexual health education. The Spot currently participates in the Edukidz and Ignite Equity strands with over 30 learners and 6 Catalysts.
