Evans Odei

Mr. Evans Odei is a Mathematics Tutor of Achimota School. He has been teaching for 21 years with Ghana Education Service. Mr. Evans Odei obtained his professional training from Mampong Technical Teachers College (College of Education) from 1997-2000 and furthered his education at University of Cape Coast where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education in 2008.

In 2015, Evans became an International Leader in Education Program (Fulbright), trained in Clemson University – South Carolina in USA. He is a trainer of Teachers. He has trained over 3,000 Basic and Senior High School teachers on the use of technology in teaching and students engagement strategies. 

Evans is the coordinator and founder of Maths Clinic multimedia series. He was transferred to Achimota Senior High School in October 2020. 

In 2020, he was shortlisted as one of the Top 10 Finalist in the Ghana Teacher Prize Award. In 2021, he was shortlisted as one of the Top 10 Finalists of the Varkey Foundation/ UNESCO $1million Global Teacher Prize. You can read more about his work here.
