Ffion Chambers
Global Head of Operations
Ffion is passionate about building the systems and structures that allow people and communities to thrive. With over a decade of experience strengthening systems, improving organisational performance, and supporting senior leadership across UK and East Africa-based non-profits, her background spans financial oversight, governance, people operations, risk and safeguarding, and building the practical tools that translate strategy into consistent, community-centred delivery.
Having begun her career with Raleigh International in Tanzania, most recently she served as Impact and Evaluation Manager at The Avenues Youth Project – where she managed £1.2M in donor funding annually and supported the organisation to triple its income – building a strong track record of driving meaningful organisational growth in service of communities that are often forgotten. She holds an MEd in the Psychology of Education from the University of Bristol, with a thesis exploring teenagers’ perceptions of gender equity. Ffion believes passionately that communities are the experts in their own lives, and that placing power and ownership in local hands is what creates change that truly lasts.
