Lucy Cox
Grants Fundraising Intern
Lucy is a recent History graduate from the University of Edinburgh, with a strong interest in international development and the role of education in shaping social and political change. Her academic work explored themes of power, partnership, and education during independence processes and in twentieth-century humanitarianism.
Alongside her studies, Lucy has gained practical experience in the charity sector through volunteering at a community advice centre, where she supported clients with a range of issues, including educational access. She has also held fundraising and financial roles within a student-led organisation tackling homelessness in Edinburgh.
In her free time, Lucy enjoys reading and cold water swimming. She speaks French and is currently learning German. She is excited to support the EduSpots philanthropy team while developing her skills in grant research and application writing.
