Week 1: Gaining critical self-awareness

One of the aims of this course is to together explore ways to close the divisions that exist between people through conversation and education – whether that divide exists between people of different places, cultures, religions, gender, sexuality or educational background—and to build critical and empathetic awareness of how our experience and positioning shapes what we see, and how we communicate.
