Happy Tsiemorli is our Learner of the Month – July

“At the Spot, I learned to use Google Forms, Canva, and other digital tools. My interest in spelling and reading also grew. I dream of becoming a Catalyst who inspires change in my community.”

Happy Tsiemorli, a thirteen-year-old Spark at Abutia Spot, has emerged as the Learner of the Month of July 2025. As a DigiLit Spark, Happy Tsiemorli has shown steady and inspiring growth, not only in her academic and creative skills but also in her confidence and leadership. Her punctuality, dedication, teamwork spirit, and support for other Sparks are beyond commendation.

Prior to joining the DigiLit club at the Abutia Spot, Happy was a very shy learner. She hardly spoke in public and was mostly reserved. Not long after she joined the club, and by engaging in club activities such as group discussions, presentations, sharing of ideas and leading sessions at the club, Happy, who began her journey as a shy learner, has gradually blossomed into a confident voice among her peers.

Happy has undergone significant changes since joining EduSpots. She has learned how to speak clearly, share her ideas effectively, and collaborate well with her peers. She used to be shy, but now she is brave and speaks in front of others. When the EduSpots CEO came to visit, Happy worked hard to prepare her speech and gave a great presentation. She is always ready to learn and help others grow, too. Her journey this month reflects not just personal development but the impact of EduSpots’ mission in action.

Happy helped design a beautiful mini diorama and gave a confident talk about it. She helps her friends during group work and shows them how to plan and practice well. Many learners now want to speak and work like Happy because she is a great example. She also tells her friends to borrow storybooks and read more, which helps them learn outside of Spot time.

Wise Kofi Afadzinu, Spotlead, Abutia Spot observed, “From a quiet spark to a bold presenter, Happy’s growth is clear to all, a true example of how EduSpots helps young learners shine. Her story invites us all to believe in the power of community learning and be part of the change.”

Happy wants to keep learning and helping her friends do their best. Her story shows that anyone can grow and shine, and we can all try to be confident, creative, and kind like her.
