We are recruiting a dynamic, strategic & committed Ghana-based Enterprise Manager to progress our income generation strategy in Ghana and beyond.
Location: Remote working (home-based in Ghana, with some domestic travel)
Reporting to: Head of Philanthropy
Hours: Full-time
Salary: 5000-8000 cedis/ month gross, dependent on experience and previous results in income generation activities
Purpose of Role
The Enterprise Manager is responsible for driving sustainable income growth for EduSpots in Ghana and internationally. This role combines strategic partnership-building with creative fundraising, delivering measurable results against annual targets. Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, the Enterprise Manager will embed revenue generation across networks, corporates, communities and individuals, ensuring income streams support EduSpots’ long-term mission and impact.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Fundraising & resource acquisition
- Work with the Head of Philanthropy to lead the development of a fundraising strategy within Ghana.
- Engage Ghanaian networks in EduSpots’ wider fundraising campaigns (e.g. The Big Give Campaign)
- Lead the development of a corporate strategy within Ghana, working closely with the Head of Philanthropy.
- Plan and host partnership events and meet-ups in Accra to introduce people to our work, feeding into our 100 Club.
- Support the leadership of online events designed to introduce new supporters to our work.
- Lead book, digital device and wider resource collections in Accra, developing relationships with NGOs, companies and individuals in Ghana and internationally.
Online course management
- Lead on the marketing, management and evaluation of EduSpots’online courses programme, working with schools, companies and individuals across the world.
- Monitor student participation and ensure certification in line with agreed guidelines.
- Support the development of wider educational partnerships for income generation.
- Organise fee-based education sessions involving members of the programmes team.
Supporting community-led fundraising
- Deliver professional development sessions and fundraising training and support for community-based volunteer teams.
- Supporting the Head of Leadership Programmes with maintaining a local partnerships database for the Spots network.
EduSpots Experience (Income & Engagement)
- Oversee delivery of the EduSpots Experience in Elmina, ensuring a strategic approach to income generation and relationship building.
- Run the EduSpots Experience social media feeds and wider communications positioning it as a flagship income-generating and engagement initiative..
- Facilitate and coordinate wider virtual tours and talks on EduSpots’ work as needed.
Wider responsibilities
- Contribute actively to the fundraising strategy as a key member of the fundraising team.
- Support donor visits and occasional Spot visits.
- Contribute to EduSpots’ professional development programme for staff.
- Proactivity input into EduSpots’ wider organisational strategy
- Support emerging organizational needs as required.
Skills, Experience and Attributes
Essential
- Proven track record of successful income generation from individuals or communities – ideally in a similar education / international development organisation
- Experience of developing and maintaining successful income generating relationships (e.g. with schools, corporates, individuals, communities)
- Experience of digital marketing to engage new charity supporters / donors (including using paid advertising and innovative engagement techniques)
- Experience of email marketing and donor conversion strategies
- Strong communication and marketing skills,
- Ability to work effectively in a remote based role with minimal day-to-day support
- Strong internal and external relationship management.
- An ability to lead interactive education and professional development sessions.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong IT skills – Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Canva, social media.

Desirable
- Experience of managing and reporting to funders
- Understanding of education and community-led models of development
- Basic design skills (Canva)
