At EduSpots, our Catalysts are the frontline individuals who accelerate the rate of change being led in our communities. These community-based changemakers commit to equipping themselves with the needed skills and tools to lead change in their communities and respond to local needs through education.
Our Catalysts are leaders of today who are shaping tomorrow. In their quest to lead sustainable change and ensure that their work lives on, they devote themselves to supporting and guiding young learners in their communities to engage in monthly challenges and club activities to build their literacy and digital skills, foundational motor and phonetic skills, STEM and environmental safety knowledge, and to advocate for gender equity and their rights in their communities and beyond.
Every year, EduSpots recognise and awards Catalysts and Spots teams who have gone beyond and above to lead change and transform their communities and the entire EduSpots network. These Catalysts chose service above self, community above comfort, and vision above fear.
On December 20, 2025, as part of the National Training Academy, in celebration of EduSpots’ 10th anniversary and also bringing together 100 Catalysts leading Ignite Equity and Keeping Spots Safe in their communities, Catalysts were awarded for their service to their communities in 2025. The recognition is not only to honour what they have done but also honour what they have become over the years. Proving that leadership is not about titles. It is about transformation.
