EduSpots Celebrates a Decade of Community-Led Change with a Landmark Student Conference & Anniversary Dinner at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge
We are thrilled to announce two transformative events marking a decade of impact.
As we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we are bringing together students, social entrepreneurs, and humanitarian leaders for a powerful Student Conference at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, on March 8th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event will be followed by a special Anniversary Dinner in the historic halls of the college.
Student Conference: Humanitarian Leadership in an Ever Changing World
This highly interactive conference, held in the McCrum Lecture Theatre, will delve into the complex dimensions of humanitarian leadership in today’s ever-evolving world. With a focus on community-led change, we will explore key themes of ethics, agency, and power.

- Cormac Russell – Renowned author, speaker and social explorer, Cormac is the founding Director of Nurture Development, and a proponent of assets based community development.
- Dr. Amjad Saleem – Works with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, with extensive experience in peace building, inclusion and education.
- Stella Gyimaah Larbi – Brings 14 years of teaching experience, recognised as a 2025 Global Teacher Prize finalist for her creative literacy development strategies.
- Gloria Addae – A professional nurse, Gloria is one of the founding Catalysts of EduSpots, establishing Abofour Spot in 2015 alongside leading the first EduSpots Readers’ Club.
- Amy Bray – 21-year-old marine biologist and CEO of Another Way, environmental education leader, and marine biologist who has planted over 30,000 trees.
- Cat Davison – The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EduSpots, with 11 years of teaching experience, recognised as a 2021 Global Teacher Prize finalist.

EduSpots’ 10-Year Anniversary Dinner
Following the conference, we will be celebrating a decade of impact at our Anniversary Dinner at Corpus Christi College. The evening will be an opportunity to reflect on EduSpots’ journey, honor our Catalysts, and envision the future.
This inspiring celebration will feature discussions with Cormac Russell, alongside Gloria Addae. We will also learn from EduSpots’ CEO, Cat Davison, about the EduSpots’ incredible journey from one Spot to 50 and its vision for the future.
After engaging in thought-provoking discussions, guests will savor a delicious three-course meal in the elegant, historic surroundings of Corpus Christi College. The evening will offer a fantastic opportunity to connect with a dynamic community of educators, volunteers, and supporters driving the future of education. To make the celebration even more exciting, there will be a lively raffle, quiz, and other EduSpotty surprises!
Above all, this event is a celebration of the extraordinary dedication of over 500 Catalysts who have impacted over 30,000 learners through practical, play-based, and community-driven education since 2015!
