EduSpots is expanding its team in Ghana – apply now!

Want to be part of a global network of changemakers and work for one of Ghana’s most innovative and impactful charities?

Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit with the energy and ideas to solve problems and drive community-led change through education?

Then we are looking for you!

EduSpots is a global charity delivering community-led change through education. We work collaboratively across Ghana, the UK and wider Africa to enable individuals and communities to create the future they want to see through education.

Since 2015, we have created a network of 42 Spots or community-led libraries, delivering over 120,000 books to support 15,000 annual library users. Our flagship Community Leadership in Education programme aims to equip current volunteers with the understanding, skills and mindset to lead change in their communities through education.

We work with over 40 schools in the UK and Ghana who engage with the project through active citizenship education projects, and through our four online courses. We won the national Tes International Award sponsored by the British Council in 2018 for our innovative and impactful approach to global learning and citizenship education.

As we head into the next stage of our organisation’s development, we are looking to expand our team in Ghana.

We have a range of exciting new part-time roles available and are looking for outstanding individuals who can bring the following skills and experience to the team:

  • Leadership coaching & mentoring
  • Communications & marketing
  • Partnerships development
  • Literacy
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths)
  • Fundraising
  • Operations

If you have skills and experience in any of these areas, combined with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and an ability to work independently, then we want to hear from you.  We are looking for people who understand the education context in rural Ghanaian communities, and believe in the power of community collaboration to create sustainable change.

Send us your CV along with a covering letter explaining why you would like to join the EduSpots team, and the skills & attributes you could bring, and we will get in touch.

Please do look carefully at our work at www.eduspots.org ahead of applying and ensure your covering letter is tailored to our organisation.

Send your details to info@eduspots.org – we are waiting to hear from you!

Please note:  Roles are available both for remote-based working as well as working at our new office location in Tamale. Roles are part-time, with potential progression towards a full-time position, based on performance.
