We are delighted to share our Annual Report and Accounts for EduSpots Global (UK), which were approved by Shruti Suni, our UK auditor, and the trustees on the 22nd October 2025.
So, what change are we celebrating in 2024?
- Over 10,000 children become more independent learners through accessing 50 Spots with resources, books and digital tools, with recorded book borrowing increasing by 500%.
- 2800 Sparks building their creativity, critical thinking and active citizenship through engaging in EduKidz, DigiLit, Ignite Equity & EcoSTEM clubs.
- Over 400 local Catalysts igniting as active, empathic and informed change makers in their own communities.
- The independent evaluation from Expectation State confirmed a shift of ‘learner-centred, inclusive and practical teaching methods’ schools, with over 160 involved in the network.
- Safeguarding & inclusion systems strengthened by local Catalysts in 50 communities, with Spot Committee Meetings doubling in frequency and safeguarding strategies rippling into wider schools and communities.
- We launched the EduSpots app, with over 300 Catalysts and 2000 Sparks registering by the year end, advancing Spot systems and outcomes
- Our funding increased by 56%, with a brilliant community of funders, partners and advisory group members established
- Our staff & trustee team strengthened, with a nearly doubling in staff team size, and a new Chair of Global Trustees, Professor Gloria Agyemang.
In all these changes, as the Expectation State report notes: “The model recognises that each community is unique, with different needs and priorities, and emphasises the importance of community-driven change.”
All of this work is championed by 400 passionate local Catalysts, based within Spot communities; today it’s time as ever to see, kudos to you all for the change you are leading.
