Celebrating EduSpots’ Growth and Impact: Join us at our Annual London Event!

We are delighted to announce that we will be celebrating EduSpots’ Annual London event on Saturday, March 2nd 2024 from 6:30pm.

EduSpots’ programs experienced a significant transformation in 2023, as we doubled our funding while expanding the depth and reach of our innovative model for community-led education. This event will be a unique opportunity to hear more about EduSpots’ recent work and impact and celebrate these successes!

Attendees of this special event will have the chance to meet and connect with members of our UK-based team and hear from our distinguished guest, Tom IIube CBE. Tom’s remarkable career as an entrepreneur, educational philanthropist, and chair of the Rugby Football Union exemplifies his dedication to effectuating positive change. He was ranked first in the Powerlist 2017, an annual listing of the UK’s 100 most powerful people with African or Afro-Caribbean heritage. His leadership and vision have been instrumental in driving impactful initiatives, including as Chair of the African Gifted Foundation and Founder of the African Science Academy, Africa’s first all-girls science and maths academy.

Guests at the event will have the opportunity to learn more about EduSpots’ long-standing collaboration with the African Science Academy, which has catalyzed several of its graduates to set up Spots in their communities across Ghana.

This special event will take place at Lift Islington, 45 White Lion St, London, with tickets at £45. With proceeds dedicated to supporting books by African authors, your participation not only ensures an enriching and lively night, but also contributes to promoting diverse voices and narratives in literature.
