EduSpots UK is recruiting for a Head of Fundraising and Partnerships

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small, but growing, global education charity, driving community-led change through education in both Ghana and the UK.

EduSpots creates, connects and empowers a network of over 300 teachers, community members and students in Ghana and the UK who believe in the power of education as a tool for change. We have supported nearly 50 communities across Ghana to create community-led education centres, or ‘Spots’, whilst nurturing deeper reflection on sustainable development and leading programmes in leadership, practical STEM and literacy development, alongside our growing range of online courses. We won the Tes International Award in 2018 for the best UK international education project, and our Founder was recently selected as a Finalist for the 2021 Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize.

This is an exciting role within our small team of staff and volunteers – we may be small, but we deliver big! You will take the lead on growing our income generation from trusts and grants, as well as from key partnerships including corporates, schools and individuals.

This contractor/freelance role is home-based, with highly flexible working hours and an attractive remuneration for the right candidate.

We are looking for an engaging and dynamic individual with a proven track record of income generation.  You will need to be self-motivated, highly organised, with excellent relationship management and communication skills, and a strong alignment with our charity’s values and educational philosophy.

If this is you, then we would love to hear from you!

Location: Home-based

Reporting to: The Chair of Trustees

Time: 16 hours (2 days) per week to be worked flexibly

Remuneration: £27,000-£29,000 pro rata

Contract Type: Freelancer / Self-employed
