Anna Tarasheva
Communications Intern
Anna is joining EduSpots as a Communications Intern in July 2024. She is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in English Literature at Durham University and is passionate about writing, education and global citizenship.
Her previous involvement with EduLit during Sixth Form developed her passion for social change in a global setting. She enjoyed EduSpots’ collaborative, sustainable and team-led approach. Her dedication and commitment resulted in her being recognised as Youth Volunteer of the Year in 2023. She has also worked within her wider local community, notably during the COVID pandemic when she created a series of online, student-performed concerts which she distributed to local care homes as a way to help the mental health of the elderly. This initiative, called ‘Sevenoaks Sounds’, was recognised by the district council as Anna received the Try Angle Award for Community Action. She was also Vice Chairman of her local youth council.
With her experience in volunteering and community-focused social change, Anna is excited to join the EduSpots team and work from a more analytical, communications-based perspective. In her free time, she enjoys reading and making and analysing films.
