Peer Mentor (Catalyse Leadership Programme)

Kofi Antwi is a dedicated Junior High School mathematics teacher based in Bono Manso. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a major in Mathematics and is deeply passionate about imparting knowledge to children while also supporting fellow educators. With seven years of experience in the Ghana Education Service, he has developed expertise in curriculum design, classroom management, play-based learning, and educational measurement and evaluation.

In 2018, recognising the need to improve academic performance in his community, Kofi co-founded the Bono Manso Spot alongside two fellow teachers. Since its inception, the Spot has grown into a thriving educational hub, now supported by a team of 17 Catalysts actively driving the community-led change.

In 2024, Kofi enrolled in the Catalyse Leadership Programme to strengthen his leadership and community development skills. After successfully completing the programme, he applied to become a Peer Mentor to support the 2025 cohort of the Catalyse Leadership Programme, aiming to share his personal experiences and guide participants through the project implementation phase. Through this role, he is committed to supporting programme participants in creating sustainable impact within their communities.
