Rafiatu Acheworon Bawa is a vibrant and resilient young woman who embodies integrity, hard work, and persistence in all her endeavors. Passionate about women’s empowerment, child health, entrepreneurship, and communication, she actively champions initiatives that drive positive change in these areas.

A professional teacher by training, Rafiatu holds a degree in Basic Education, along with certifications in graphic design and soap production. Her versatility and eagerness to explore new opportunities have led her to excel as an entrepreneur in the beading industry while also serving as a presenter and reporter at Radio Mak in Wa, Upper West Region. Currently, Rafiatu serves as the Spot Leader for Piisi Spot in the Upper West Region of Ghana.

As a dedicated Catalyst at Piisi Spot, Rafiatu has signed up as a Peer Mentor for the Ignite Equity strand, aiming to share her experiences and support fellow Catalysts across the EduSpots network in strengthening their Ignite Equity Clubs.
