Yussif Zainab

Gender Equity and Inclusion Coordinator

Yussif Zainab is a young lady with a great sense, zeal and determination to serve humanity. She is a
caring, empathetic, and humble person and is well-recognized for her consistency and discipline,
courage, passion, and love. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the University for
Development Studies.

She is a passionate advocate for change, driven by a deep commitment to quality education, gender
equality and social justice. She is deeply dedicated to tackling issues such as climate change, youth
development, and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR).

She was once a Secretary at LifeLine Educational Solutions, Deputy Secretary for Northern Regional
Youth Network, English Tutor at Nkonya M/A Junior High School, Founder of Nkonya Spot and ‘The
Touching Lives Project’, Fellow at Lead for Ghana, and Peer Mentor for EduSpots’ Ambassadors and
Ignite Equity.

Her aspiration has always been to change the world, and make it a better place than she met it by
having great impact on the lives of many people as possible. Since 2020, she has been an advocate and
volunteered in different youth groups and organizations to lead community change.

Her interests are research, volunteering, reading and writing.
