Every six months, we open the opportunity for new Spots to apply to join the EduSpots network.
Information for applicants
Note that your project should already be in operation, with a community team of volunteers supporting it. There should be a safe place to store educational resources and a space for learning to take place. We usually work in rural underserved communities but we are open to considering new projects at this point, in Ghana and beyond.
Through joining our network, you would gain access to our Ignite training programme, regional conferences, staff support (in the areas of early years literacy, JHS literacy, STEM, girls empowerment and Spot operations), and wider resources such as books and phonics cards. You will also be able to apply for grant funding in the future, alongside other members of our network.
Note that we do not build libraries or schools, and that we are looking for projects who already have a functioning space for holding activities.
Please note that this process is competitive, do take the time to answer in significant depth, giving us all the detail we need to review your application.
Please complete this form by the April 30th 2024 to be considered in the next cycle. Note that you will need to discuss this application with members of your community who will be interviewed as part of the Spot application process.
If you have any questions about this process, please email the Head of Staff and Professional Development, Kennedy, at kapanyin@eduspots.org
