Oliver Champness

Partnerships Support Officer

An Old Brightonian, Oliver was part of the first student team to visit to Ghana from the school in 2015, subsequently supporting EduSpots through various fundraising activities. Since graduating from the University of York in 2021 with a First Class Honours Degree in Human Geography & Environment, he has returned to the charity as a Partnerships Support Officer. Now living in London, Oliver works as a graduate management trainee for a pharmaceutical firm. In his spare time he enjoys exploring the UK’s national parks and beauty spots, as well as cooking for others at home. Upon rejoining EduSpots as a volunteer, Oliver commented: “Having watched EduSpots grow both in size and scope over the last six years, I am so pleased to be able to continue to support its fantastic mission. EduSpots’s focus on sustainable and empowering community-led initiatives that solve local problems through education is truly inspiring, and I cannot wait to see what the educational Catalysts do next.”
