The Badili Zone Organisation, led by one of our Reading Spots youth changemakers, Claris Nadini, is organising a sponsored walk at Karura forest.
This is a message from Claris and her team:
On that day, we will be having a conversation around quality education in the slum, why it matters and how we can achieve it and what Badili Zone is aiming to achieve, both short and long term goals. This is an earlier notification, kindly let us all join the conversation on our social media pages. The conversation will be on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Twit, re-twit, comment and like. This is so as to activate the conversation, and bring more people on board as volunteers, or mentors to our beneficiaries.
The day is on the 12th of December, please save the date and the t-shirts too. Even if unfortunately you won’t be able to physically join the walk, you can order your t-shirt and pay to the Badili Zone Bank Account.
